Computational tools, grounded social inquiry.

I am a Research Scientist at Astraculum AI and completed an MPhil in Social Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. My work bridges computational social science and mixed-methods sociology.

I combine statistical analysis, surveys, fieldwork, and in-depth interviews with emerging approaches to LLM-based social simulation. Across these methods, I am interested in how institutions, mobility, education, and inequality shape the lives of families, children, and urban communities.
